When I rescued him he was an 8 week old puppy. He had a really rough start prior to his rescue. On the day that I got him, he was covered in fleas and dirt. He was scared and spooked by most things. I cleaned him up, got him his vaccines, and gave him love. Despite my best attempts and good intentions, Zero had developed multiple behavior problems. When I would leave the house, he would start destroying everything, panicking in his crate, being reactive to everything, puppy potty training wasn't going well, and he wouldn't listen to my commands. To say I was stressed out about Zero is an understatement!

I felt trapped. I didn’t want to have to get rid of him, but I was running out of options. It was time to get serious about dog training and dog reactivity training!

I started talking to other trainers, reading books on animal behaviorism and dog training methodologies, participating in forums, and attending seminars. I was digging in deep to hone my skills.

Using my improved dog training and dog reactivity training methods, Zero’s behavior started to fall in line! He was listening to me, his reactivity and destructive tenancies were going away, and he was slowly working through his fears. The better he got, the more it positively reinforced my learning, and down the rabbit hole I went!

I wanted to sharpen my dog training skills even further, so I started training my friend’s dogs, acquaintance’s dog, family’s dogs, (pretty much anyone who would let me train their dog really, hahah)

Having found much success in training other peoples dogs, and wanting to continue to share my skills and methods with everyone, in 2019 I founded Clockwork Canine Dog Training, and started offering my training services to clients in person.

Using a unique approach to dog obedience and dog reactivity training, I train with my clients at their location, and come up with a customized dog training plan. I use only positive reinforcement dog training, combined with educating my clients of how dog training works, how dogs learn, and how to better communicate with your dogs. Together, will find the best ways to keep your dog’s behavior where you want it!

I’ve learned so much about dog behavior and dog training, I hope to help show you how to read your dogs body language, and learn the methods and ways to capture your dogs behaviors, so that you can enjoy a strong and stress free relationship with your dog like I have with Zero!
